CNN’s global affairs correspondent Elise Labott tweeted out an incredibly biased message after today’s House vote to prohibit Syrian refugees from entering the U.S. at least temporarily.
While the vote was an overwhelming (and veto proof) 289-137, with 47 Democrats joining 242 Republicans in favor of the bill, this CNN reporter didn’t like it.
Labott tweeted:
House passes bill that could limit Syrian refugees. Statue of Liberty bows head in anguish @CNNPolitics https://t.co/5RvZwVftgD

Hey, I thought reporters were always calling for bipartisanship. I guess they only mean bipartisanship when it means towing the liberal line.
So CNN suspended her for two weeks. But really what good does two weeks do? Is she going to change? No. She’s just not going to tweet it out so plainly. She’ll just keep it to her actual reportage.
I guess CNN is at least pretending she’s in trouble. MSNBC would’ve given her her own show.
