You’ll hear many things about papal doc tomorrow. Ask this simple question. Does it tend to lead people out of sin or confirm them in it?

Last but not least, sometimes pessimism is just being right before everyone else.

I’d say I told you so, but what is the point. It takes no special gift or prescience to know what they will do. One simply pays attention to what they have done and what they say.
