I’m not sure I’m seeing the reason why the media and many on the left are so hesitant to call what happened with the bombs in NYC terrorism or that Muslim nutter in the mall chopping at people “terrorism.” I don’t get it.

They all explain it away as “not ISIS related” or “no links to ISIS” as if that makes it better. Isn’t the fact that all these “lone wolves” are doing the same exact thing (trying to kill Americans in the name of Islam) perhaps even worse? Might it actually be scarier that it’s the ideology itself that’s leading these people to violence? Wouldn’t it be less scary if there was some mastermind behind it all in the Middle East?

To me, all this “lone wolf” business is actually worse.
