Planned Parenthood to pretty much every pro-lifer: “I don’t know who you are. I don’t know what you want. I have a great deal of taxpayer money, but I also have a very particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you leave us alone now that’ll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you, but if you don’t, I will look for you, I will find you and I will kill you.”
California State Attorney General Xavier Becerra announced felony charges against David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt, the two videographers who exposed the abortion industry as being willing to sell body parts for cash.
The two are accused to multiple felonies for feigning to be part of a fictitious bioresearch company and covertly recording abortion industry officials without their permission.
Daleiden reportedly said that the charges were “bogus” and that they were coming from “Planned Parenthood’s political cronies.” That is true but I would still be very worried because judges can be political cronies of Planned Parenthood as well.
Planned Parenthood was so thrilled about the charges that they fired up their twitter and said the charges send a “clear message” which is what the charges were meant to do. And that message, they said, is “You can’t target women & health care providers without consequences” which, if translated, means “Don’t mess with Planned Parenthood.”
You might recall that Texas has previously filed charges against the two but were eventually dropped. Hey, as far as Planned Parenthood is concerned48 states to go.
Daleiden and Merritt had previously been indicted in Texas on similar charges in January of 2016, but all of the charges were eventually dropped by July as prosecutors said a grand jury had overstepped its authority. The grand jury had originally been convened to investigate Planned Parenthood, but after finding no wrongdoing turned around and indicted Daleiden and Merritt instead.
Did you really think that people who rip babies apart for a living would have mercy on political opponents? They will seek to do the same thing against you that they do to the unborn, except the media is their scalpel while politician and judges are their suction.
