In a medical first, doctors transplanted a pig heart into a patient in a last-ditch effort to save his life and a Maryland hospital said Monday that he’s doing well three days after the highly experimental surgery.
Pigs are predictably not very happy with this news. First, God made them out of bacon and now we can use their hearts.
But please think of the real victims here. China’s booming harvested organ network will most certainly take a hit if this becomes more of a trend. The poor dears will have to stop kidnapping, enslaving, and tearing the organs out of its own citizens for profit. I mean, they can still do it for funzies but just not for profit.
Thank goodness for Nike and Apple so that China still has a way to profit off its working slaves. But once they die now the profit ends. Such a shame.
