Well, this is disturbing. You know all those times that the left argued that Roe v. Wade was settled and that pro-lifers just had to accept what the high court said. Yeah, they don’t think that anymore.

Now that the Supreme Court may toss Roe, pro-aborts are scrambling to assure that abortion continues.

Some of their ideas are absolutely insane, including having the FDA issue regulations to wildly expand access to abortion by pill that can be sent to women. Abortion by mail.

Another is that the Department of Health and Human Services could encourage states to use their own Medicaid funds — which are not governed by the Hyde Amendment — to cover abortion services. And then the trick would be to get everyone on Medicaid. Simple enough.

The third is my favorite.  It is so insane that even they don’t think it’ll work but they think it’s worth trying anyway because they love abortion so much.

The federal government could lease federal land to abortion clinics. Those clinics could then operate within the borders of a state that has limited or even banned abortion. Since they would not be on state property, those clinics could be exempt from the state’s abortion laws and instead governed by only federal statute.

This leads to the fourth one. They want to try the same idea but on Native American reservations. Seriously. You know how the US government kicked Native Americans off their land and then a century and a half later the Native Americans finally got a plan to make some cash by building casinos but then we legalized that everywhere and kinda’ ruined that. So now the left wants to offer abortion clinics to tribes. They could get a cut from each dead baby. We could call it a “scalp” or something like that. Just an idea.

And then you have the tried and true method. Just add three radical leftists to the US Supreme Court. Packing the court is their go to to get what they want.

And you thought they’d just accept the ruling of the court.
