Is the left arguing that Clarence Thomas is responsible for his wife’s actions? That he somehow controls his wife?
What is Ginni Thomas even being accused of? She’s accused of texting Mark Meadows in the White House, saying that she believed the election was stolen, which it absolutely was. But even if you don’t believe it was stolen what is wrong with what she did. She reached out to someone she knew and urged them to stand strong. Does she somehow lose her right to free speech when her husband was seated on the Supreme Court?
The text exchanges between Ginni Thomas and Mark Meadows, President Trump’s chief-of-staff, were leaked by the January 6 select committee to the Washington Post’s Bob Woodward, who framed the exchanges in the darkest possible terms, saying, “Ginni Thomas used her access to Trump’s inner circle to promote and seek to guide the president’s strategy to overturn the election result.”
Even if that were true. So what? She texted a friend. But even if there was something wrong with this, what does that have to do with Clarence Thomas? Women are reportedly fierce independent beings who don’t need their husband’s permission to act, right? So why is the left blaming Clarence Thomas for his wife’s actions?
And for the left to attack like this while Clarence Thomas was in the hospital shows what vile asshats they actually are.

To Karen’s last point. What shows the decline in Church attendance is the failure to teach true Catholic doctrine. Parishes that do this are thriving!
As to being hypocrites, I do not agree. There are many cases of left leaning husbands or wives being involved in situations like this that go completely un responded to. One only has to look at folks like Hilary Clinton or Michelle Obama to see many cases. I think the point that Mr Thomas is conservative and is drawing this attention is very well stated.
Personally, I have no problem with either side doing something like this. Anyone who thinks husbands and wives do not act on there own at times is not living in reality.
Also, I have never screamed for ANY Democrat to be shot! Converted, yes, shot no!

Neither Hillary Clinton nor Michelle Obama tried to overthrow the government. My point was that you would demand the execution of any Democratic officeholder whose wife sent texts like Ms. — I make a point of NEVER using “Mrs” — Thomas while supporting Ginni’s treason.
As for church growth, all of them are losing. The tiny number of misogynist wife-beater parishes like you support may grow for awhile, but once the girls grow up and learn that they don’t have to be pathetic doormats like Mom, they’ll close too.

I have to agree with Karen, Jorgen, using retard in an argument is never correct. A large problem today is the inability to actually disagree.
I do not think that Mrs Thomas asking someone to look into something that disturbs her is really trying to overthrow the government. Part of the governments job is to check into things like that.
As for the Church, the actual traditional Catholic Church is thriving and doesn’t show signs of letting up.
