This is my favorite story of the day. This is what you call being hung on your own petard. And there’s petards everywhere.
A New York Times piece by Michael Powell titled “A Vanishing Word in Abortion Debate: ‘Women” worries that progressive groups and medical organizations have adopted inclusive language, which has led to ditching sane terms like “women” and replacing it with “pregnant people” and “chestfeeders” so much that women no longer feel as connected to the left.
Vanishing Word in Abortion Debate: ‘Women’. Birthing People, Pregnant people and Progressive Vocabulary. Empathy for transgender. But "Female patients who understand themselves as women" may not ‘go along silently with language in which they do not exist": https://t.co/AOgotZZDau

Michael Powell called out the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), which recently published a piece about abortion without actually using the word “women.”
Hey, don’t blame the ACLU. The left has opted for terms like “birthing person” and “chest feeders.”
And now normal people are stepping back from the insanity from the left. They’re doing a double take on who they’ve been aligned with for five decades.
The question is, can they reverse course on this without being excoriated? I don’t think so. Just look at what happened to JK Rowling, who was Captain Woke for about a decade and then was uncomfortable with the woke left ditching the word “women” and was vilified.
So can the left follow JK Rowling? I don’t think so, without enraging the LGBTQLMNOPNUTS.
Good luck lefties. You made your bed. Now lay down with the drag queens.
