To be fair, because he actually phoned the police, I think it can be called a “mostly peaceful” assassination attempt.

I’ve gone over this before but left wing violence towards those they perceive to be on the right wing is virtually ignored. The madman who attacked Republican congressmen and women on the baseball field was essentially tossed into the dustbin of history. Nothing to see here.

There’s only so long so many can be negated before something happens. Either those who count will wonder why those who don’t count seem to be getting in the way and do something about it. Or those who don’t count get a little tired of not counting and start asking questions about who exactly is keeping count?
