Ugh.

This is so sad and awful but it also goes to a further question about the “right” of people to have a child outweighing the right of a child to have a mother and a father.

Do we believe that a mother and a father are different and bring different talents to the table of raising a child? I would think that’s indisputable. So when we place children with gay couples we are saying the adult’s “want” is more important than the child’s need for a mother and a father.

Our culture is upside down right now. A child isn’t a child unless the mother wants the child. This is insane.

We’ve come to believe that there is no objective truth but only what serves our wants, all else be damned.

And then, this is what happens. God help us all.
