Hey remember all those people who were worried about the gross over reach of the intelligence community after 9-11? Remember they said, all of those tactics and power we allowed the intelligence community to use to protect us would one day be turned on us and weaponized against us?

Yeah, well they were right.

Remember Peter Strzok, the former FBI agent who disgraced himself with the Russia hoax?

Anyway, he was on MSNBC saying that January 6th is more of a threat to democracy than the jihadis taking over planes on 9/11.

I don’t think he just means January 6th. I think what he’s saying is that conservatives in general are a far greater threat to this country than Islamic terrorism. Now, this is scary, not because he was once an FBI agent. It’s scary for a few reasons.

  1. Nobody even raised an eyebrow at him saying this.
  2. This guy was highly trusted in the agency. They clearly put him in charge of getting rid of President Trump and covering up. This was a very highly respected individual. What he’s saying is likely mainstream thinking amongst the higher ups in the intelligence community.
  3. They’re still covering for him. The entire truth of the Russia hoax has never really come out. Not completely.

So remember, these are not the words of some ousted lunatic. This was their guy. Still is.

PETER STRZOK: Nicolle. I think that’s right. And I think if you look at the scale in terms of a threat to democracy – I mean, 9/11 was a tragedy. We lost thousands of lives in a horrific way. We still mourn to this day. But when you look at something that is an attack on democracy, something that could actually bring about a fundamental change to American governments as we understand it, 9/11 is nothing to compared January 6.

And the fact that the FBI and the rest of the government if they are not only on the same sort of war footing that they were on in the weeks and months and years after 9/11, shame on everyone!

This is a far greater threat to our constitutional democracy than anything we’ve faced in the past 20 or more years. We need to be addressing it the same way.

So whatever the government has to do to infiltrate conservative groups they will do. They will monitor you. They will raid your home. They will arrest you. All for the good of the country, you understand. That is why they are rounding up pro-lifers and ignoring hate crimes against crisis pregnancy centers and churches.

Because they are the country. You, they don’t get. You they don’t like. You are an obstacle to their utopia. Get out of the way or face their wrath.
