We’ve heard the arguments that rising crime is due to a lack of access to abortion.
We’ve heard the arguments that rising crime is due to the lack of access to abortion. Yup. Rising crime could be solved by abortion.
We’ve been told that unemployment could be solved by abortion. I mean, obviously you don’t need as many jobs if you don’t have as many people.
The environment could obviously be saved by abortions as there’d be less CO2 exhalers out there.
But right now, the people have spoken and clearly want to speak about the economy. On all polls, the economy is number one. Watch here how the Democrats talk about the economy. It’s all about abortion. Abortion is an economic issue. It’s a numbers game.
Cultures are built on stories. Those stories unite people. They offer a vision to all. As long as the culture understands and accepts those stories it will survive but when it doesn’t, something has to fill the void. Our culture in this country was built on Christianity. We (mostly) all shared the same ideals. Did we live up to them? No. That’s not the point. It’s about sharing the ideals, values.
We don’t share values anymore. We no long believe in the same stories. Christianity has essentially been banned from the public sphere and demonized.
So what happens next? It becomes a numbers game. Numbers replace stories. How many of US can get what we want from THEM?
Watch here, the issue of life itself becomes a numbers game. Abortion is made into an economic issue.
The country that doesn’t believe in the same things, splits into groups and those groups fight for power. You see us splitting up now. It’s the Deep State vs. conservative Christian nationalists (whatever that means.) It’s splitting along racial lines.
We agree on nothing. What is a human? What is a woman? What is a life? We hold nothing in common.
The point I’m making is that we can’t tell pollsters that the economy is our main issue. But in reality it’s not. Our malady is spiritual. It goes much deeper than the economy.
It’s not the economy stupid.
Unless this country returns to Christianity, shares the same ideals we can not survive.

Well, I cant argue with the logic that if we kill off all the poor people then there wont be any poor people.

Unfortunately killing off all the poor only creates another class that will not be as poor as those killed but not as well off as the others who float to the top either. This will be the new poor. We will always have the poor as our Lord said and this is why we are called to give alms and not called to eliminate poverty but to alleviate the suffering of the poor with our charity. This a test of faith for the haves rather than the have nots.
