This guy strangled strangled an 11 month old to death and now has the ACLU suing the state of Indiana on his behalf, demanding that taxpayer money be used for some kind of gender mutilation surgery.
And guess what the argument is – not paying for his surgery is “cruel and unusual” punishment.
Yeah, that’s what’s cruel and unusual here, amirite?
Fox News: The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is suing the Indiana Department of Corrections on behalf of a transgender inmate, Jonathan C. Richardson, also known as Autumn Cordellionè, who was convicted of strangling his 11-month-old stepdaughter to death in 2001.
A recent Indiana law, adopted July 1, prohibits the Department of Corrections from using taxpayer dollars to fund sex reassignment surgeries for inmates. However, the ACLU argues in the lawsuit, filed on Aug. 28, that the law is a violation of the Eighth Amendment’s prohibition of “cruel and unusual punishment.”
We can all agree that this is insanity, right?

As far as I remember, the ACLU has had nothing to say about the mistreatment of the January 6 defendants and was also silent about those who lost their jobs to the vax mandates.

No surprise there. Other than a token defense of the right every once in awhile to make it look good the ACLU are a bunch of leftists whose job is to limit the influence of conservatism.
