This is how USA Today reported the assassination attempts.
ABC’s Martha Raddatz and George Snufalufagus had this exchange where they pretty much blamed the shooting on Trump’s rhetoric:
MARTHA RADDATZ: Also, George, we have to point out: no matter who the shooter — what the shooter’s motives were, no matter who the shooter is, you are going to hear conspiracy theories going forward.
GEORGE STEHANOPOULOS: No question about that. But as you point out, the statements from JD Vance and Vivek Ramaswamy. Of course, President Trump and his supporters have contributed to this violent rhetoric as well.
RADDATZ: We were just looking back at some of the things that former President Trump has said. He warned last March of potential death and destruction if he were charged by the Manhattan District Attorney, “our country is being destroyed as they tell us to be peaceful”. Trump in January warned of bedlam in the county if the criminal charges against him succeeded. And, of course, in March he said “ now, if I don’t get elected it’s going to be a bloodbath for the whole- that’s going to be the least of it, it’s going to be a bloodbath for the country. That will be the least of it.” He said he was partly joking and that that was taken out of context but those are, indeed, his words. And you have heard it from supporters as well and supporters are certainly, in some parts, angry. And let’s remember January 6th. In so many ways for the campaign, January 6th will probably be in the background after yesterday’s event. This is a very difficult time for this campaign. I’m sure, this week in Milwaukee, that President Trump will highlight this, and President Biden is going to have to figure out how to go forward with his campaign and what exactly they say.
You see the problem here is right wing violence. Someone on the left just shot at the Republican nominee and the problem is J6?
CNN’s original reporting was “Trump injured in incident at rally.”
Even the Australia media was pointing out the insanity of headlines in the US.

They are no longer committed to truth. They are propagandists. Thankfully, so many have woken up. Sadly, many haven’t.
They have been irresponsibly escalating the rhetoric for years.

This example of “media” is despicable, not to mention unprofessional.
Since when did journalism, outside of a clearly marked editorial, become the reporting of the correspondent’s personal views?
I well remember grade school and high school English classes where we were taught that the duty of journalism is to report the “who, what, where, when, and why” of any event. Editorializing and writing novels was the place for making opinions. Journalism was the place for reporting on people and events.
“This” is the reason my husband and I stopped listening to NPR and switched to an independent classical station which uses the BBC news. Which is clear, does not condescend, and simply reports the news of the day without prejudice one way or another.
The BBC is hardly a bastion of conservatism, but that is the point – you can never ascertain the sympathies of the person writing or reporting the news. It is refreshing after decades of listening to partisan news broadcasting.

Look. How long has the msm been reporting fake news? Rush Limbaugh is the one who coined the term “drive by media” from the very beginning. Is there any doubt as to why there are so many TDS people out there? They’ve been fed this media feces for decades and now find themselves as ‘bottom feeders’ in our society. The low information voters. Again, another term coined by Limbaugh. I don’t know if Trump will win the elections, but I do know this: the hand of God thwarted that bullet that was marked for Trumps head.
Calling Trump a racist, dictator and Adolf Hitler since 2015 had to have had an effect on weak-minded individuals as the shooter Crooks. The left, the Democrats knew what they were doing. Biden only a few weeks ago said paraphrasing, “No more debates! It is time to put Trump in the bullseye!”
When Sarah Palin put an ad out years ago with a target on democrat areas to beat you heard an incessant cry from the media and democrats to make her drop out of the race. There was no need for this violence they decried! On and on they went for weeks on end trying to destroy Palin for it. Yet Biden? It is time to put Trump in the bullseye? Not a friggin peep from the left. Crickets.
You democrats out there who plan on voting for Biden, who have ANY decency left in your souls reconsider your vote. The dems are truly the party of death and you really want to be a member of that party?
If God truly had a direct hand in saving Trump then those of you still determined to vote democrat might just find yourselves directly confronting God.

we have reached a moment where we can point FYI and say, “see?!” what we have been saying about the msm is accurate. they are spokespersons for the leftist agenda…but I fear that the comfortable lies will be stronger than these inconvenient facts.

I’ll repeat the words of Sam Adams to the excuse makers, rationalizers, and pragmatists of his day:
“May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen”
We discovered a few years ago who were willing to betray their neighbors and call for the loss of jobs and internment over a vaccine and masks.
We also discovered those who were willing to look the other way while that was going on.
There is no pompously hovering above it all any longer smugly observing how ‘both sides’ have it wrong.
I often wonder if the truly evil might only comprise a miniscule percentage of the lost souls.
Perhaps the overwhelming majority of the souls in hell are those who enabled the truly evil.
Those who went along to get along, those who made excuses, those who looked the other way.
May God have mercy on our country and grant us the strength and courage to bring justice to the wicked and mercy to their victims.
