Abortion is the hammer of the left. I know when I’m frustrated by a problem, my go to tool is always a hammer. It may not fix it but it’ll feel good trying.
For the left, there’s nothing abortion can’t solve.

You care about crime?
The left has long connected drops in crime with abortion. They said that legalized abortion in the 1970’s led to a massive drop in crime in the early 90’s because all those little babies never got the chance to grow up and become criminals.
Women’s equality? Gender pay gap? Abortion solves it!!! (I do have to wonder why 50 years of legalized abortion didn’t solve it but just a few more years will.)
Quality education? That too can be solved with the magic wand of abortion. Fewer kids mean smaller classrooms and that always means failed teachers into wonderful teachers. (Note: there is no evidence for this but it is repeated as truth.)
Health Care? The health care system will be less burdened by poor children and therefore more able to accommodate the survivors of the abortion holocaust. yay!!! Just a few millions in utero killings means less waiting time in the ER? Sign me up!!!!
There’s nothing that abortion can’t solve to the leftist mind because human beings are the problem. And once a political class decides that people are the problem, what could go wrong?

I also find it interesting that when the word “abortion” appears in a news story, it is linked with the word “care.” It’s like they are trying to soften the blow, to make it seem kind and compassionate, rather than evil and destructive. No amount of so-called “care” changes what truly happens.

Elizabeth, the left are masters at manipulating words and redefining them at will and expect everyone to accept the new meanings. Remember the Palestinian Liberation Organization with Yasser Arafat as it’s murderous head? Liberation was NEVER part of their goal but the word sounds good doesn’t it?
Reproduction services? Lol, it sounds so benign yet abortion is it’s number one service.
As you said, Women’s Health Care? Sounds so caring and so compassionate yet again, it’s number one concern is the availability of abortion.
Dying with dignity?? Oh yeah, how better to respect a person and their dignity than helping put them to death?
Man-made global warming, nah, that sounds too harsh and the people are rejecting it.
Let’s try Anthropogenic Warming. Sounds better huh? It means Man-made global warming. Well we can’t use that then.
How about Global Warming? Oops we can’t use that either because the Earth really isn’t warming.
Ah! Got it! Climate Change! There, the name doesn’t blame anyone(even though they blame man for it).
Climate has changed throughout the geological history of the Earth, with or without man. To deny that the climate doesn’t change would be to deny science but to blame puny man for the climate changing IS denying science.
