So many people believed the lie that the scene in the Olympic opening ceremony was NOT the Last Supper at all but the Feast of Dionysius. They didn’t intend to mock Christianity at all!!!! It’s all a big misunderstanding.

But it’s not. We know that. Just like it’s not a misunderstanding that two male boxes are dominating the Olympics, despite what we’re being told and so many are believing the lie.

Why believe the lie? Gullible? Maybe.

Or might it be that they’re unwilling to seem like rubes. Might it be that they don’t want to be compared with the nutty Christians. They want to sit at the cool kid’s table.

The Vatican finally issued a statement condemning the offensive display. “The Holy See was saddened by certain scenes at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games and cannot but join the voices raised in recent days to deplore the offense done to many Christians and believers of other religions.”

Not exactly a fiery statement but we’ll take what we can get.
