Video footage shows the historic San Francisco church in Iquique, Chile, collapsing into flames. No casualties were reported from the blaze, and authorities are investigating its cause, according to CNN.
This is not an anomaly.
What CNN does is just report this blip without context. They report this as if other churches across the world hadn’t been torched, vandalized, or desecrated. It’s all lone wolf, single serving anomaly floating across modernity without a narrative to attach itself to.
Here’s the truth: The Catholic Church has been targeted worldwide and the Church itself is ignoring this. Catholics don’t even know about what’s going on. We do not live in the world we thought we did.
