I still don’t understand what we’re supposed to be doing when we’re synodaling but let’s understand that the merry synodalers will synodal until they succeed.
Reinventing the Church, of course.
I like what Cardinal Muller has to say here, according to Edward Pentin.
“We must not give in to the following suggestion: If you want to reach people today and be loved by all, then, just like Pilate, leave the truth aside, then you will be spared persecution, suffering, the cross and death! Secularly speaking, the power of politics, media and banks is the safe side, while the truth defies contradiction, and promises suffering with Christ, the crucified Savior of the world.”
At the IX Pax Liturgica Meeting in Rome today, Cardinal Gerhard Müller warned against bishops betraying their divine mission by relativising doctrine and failing to uphold the orthodox faith. Cardinal Müller also singled out “two serious errors” existing in the Church today:

Cardinal Müller also singled out “two serious errors” existing in the Church today:
“1: That a pope, with his maximum apostolic authority (plenitudo potestatis), could even change the hierarchical constitution of the Church and her divine law (ius divinum), for example delegating his jurisdictional authority to the laity.
- That the Spirit transmits to the Pope a completely new teaching that the faithful must blindly accept, even if it is in open contradiction with the clear teaching of the Holy Scripture, with Apostolic Tradition and with the previous dogmatic definitions of the Popes and Ecumenical councils.”
Referring Vatican I and the dogmatic Constitution “Pastor aeternus,” he said: “The Holy Spirit, in fact, was not promised to the successors of Peter to reveal, with his inspiration, a new doctrine, but to scrupulously guard and faithfully make known, with his assistance, the revelation transmitted by the Apostles, that is, the deposit of faith.”
