A Catholic priest charged with indecent exposure after being accused of jogging naked in the pre-dawn darkness has pleaded not guilty and asked for a jury trial.
The Rev. Robert Whipkey was arrested June 22 in Frederick, about 25 miles north of Denver, after an officer saw him walking on a street naked at 4:35 a.m. Whipkey told police at the time that he jogged naked because he sweats profusely if he wears clothing, according an arrest report.
So I’m a little confused. What is he going to argue that he’s not guilty of? The naked part? The jogging part? Can he argue he was speed walking? Is he going to argue that clothes harm his aerodynamics?
