Appearing on the O’Reilly Factor, Catholic convert Laura Ingraham says that the Pope has closed the Cafeteria and that life is a public duty.
Laura suggests that the cafeteria is closed. Unfortunately, I think it will take more. Perhaps all the way to most Bishops denying communion to make it clear, you can’t take or leave the Church’s teachings on life.

From Laura’s (purty) mouth to God’s ears.
FYI, is it me? Or does Laura remind anyone else of a better-looking non-evil/spiteful/witch-like/scarecrowish relative of Anne Coulter?

I applaud FOX for this faithful coverage in contrast to the TIME article about the Church & FoCA.
I love the free press of the US. It can present the truth to the public fearlessly.

Human Life International (HLI) is circulating a petition for the Holy Father to formally excommunicate Pelosi. Personally, I believe it’s a noble idea, but I don’t think the Holy Father will take the step himself. In order to avoid the precedent — there are so many cases like this — I should think he would call upon her bishop to take more aggressive measures.
Then he’ll find out that won’t work, which he probably already suspects. Don’t ask me what happens next.

And if the bishop does not do it, one can always correct the person directly.

Perhaps the Pope should suggest to her bishop that he needs to prohibit her from taking communion, and if not, maybe he is not suited to being the bishop of SanFrancisco. Perhaps a small diocese in Northern Alaska would suit him better, or Tierra de Fuego, if he prefers the South.
