Remember when liberals all laughed at Sarah Palin for tagging Obamacare with the term “death panels.” They all said there was no such thing and if you believed there were such a thing as death panels then you’re as stoooopid as Sarah Palin.
Well…ok, there are death panels but we really really really need them like really really bad and if you’re so stupid that you don’t understand that, well then you’re as stupid as Sarah Palin.
Newsbusters watches all the news shows like ABC’s George Snuffalufagus’ show that I don’t have the interest or the time to watch and they have the video where Pulitzer Prize winner Paul Krugman finally admits the truth about death panels:
So just to recap -Sarah Palin is still stupid even though she was right and you’re stupid if you believed her. Got it?
Oh, and if you raise a stink about this, remember that you might need a medical procedure done someday that will need to be approved by the government so don’t tick off the government.

"KRUGMAN: No. Some years down the pike, we're going to get the real solution, which is going to be a combination of death panels and sales taxes."
Basicly, Krugman is saying 1 way or another the government is going to tax us to death. 🙂
PS Love Newsbusters. & not just because they did a story about how I was treaed by the media either. Big fan long before that.

Great post in trying to incite hysteria and fear! But Krugman is a big leftist loser. Most of his ideas are overlooked. He wanted the government to take over the banks and for the stimulus to be twice the size. Nobody listens to Krugman. But nice try in try instill fear. You should take some lessons from Cheney. He was an expert.

Yeah, because we all know the New York Times holds no place of importance to this administration, the media, or to the left.

@Helen: No hysteria or fear, just unmasking the liars who talked up Obamacare and showing the world the honesty and brilliance of Sarah Palin who saw this and called it out. And the MSM was an accomplice in defrauding the nation. Now, it brazenly comes out with the need to fund Obamacare from all sorts of sources – including denying folks of care and sending them to their graves at the discretion of death panels.

Don't think it is hysteria to view with suspicion an unaccountable bureacracy designed to establish what will and won't be covered in medical care based on a person's value to society and long term economic costs to the state.
Don't think taking Peter Singer's words or Dr. Emanuel or Krugman or any of the other experts who supported this bill at their words is being fearful, only reasonably discerning….This is what they see as an outcome. We should just say pshaw when their words echo each other and mirror the law itself?
One of the reasons SO MANY are against government run health care is that currently, if you are insured and denied coverage, you can sue. You can fight. There are recourses. If the government is the sole provider, which is the stated intent of the President (We'll get to one day), who do we appeal to if the government says "No." for any reason, what recourse exists for fighting a government that determines care and coverage? No one answers this question. No one wants to answer this question because the problem with a single provider/payer system is simply either you pay for everything and go bankrupt or you deny coverage to some for some things and people suffer the consequences of not getting what they need in the process of being managed by a large unpersonal system.
The President said as much, in saying a "morphine drip" might be preferable to surgery for some even if they are healthy but just happen to be elderly when asked by a constituent during the campaign.

Death Panels for thee, but not for me!!!

So, appears that (borrowing from John Kerry) he was against Death Panels, before he was for them. But in actuality, that was a term that the Dems were deathly afraid of having to defend, if THEY even knew what was in the bill. The thing was prepared for them way in advance of PBO ever running for office. I doubt even Hillary Clinton had full knowledge of what was in it when it was being called Hillary-care.
