“We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.”
Do you believe those famous words from the Declaration of Independence? Do you? It’s an important question because in the end so much of our debate about government really does come down to the question over whether our rights are endowed to us by God and government simply acknowledges those rights or whether government actively creates and grants rights.
I believe in the former view. In fact, I think it’s dangerous to accept that government has the ability to create rights because then they also have the ability to take rights away.
That’s why this comment by Harry Reid yesterday during the Obamacare vote is so disturbing. In comparing Democrats to Republicans he says:
“This is the difference between giving people rights and taking them away.”
It wasn’t a slip of the tongue either. Here Reid said essentially the same thing:
Make no mistake President Obama has left out “endowed by our Creator” when quoting the declaration numerous times. I don’t believe it’s by accident.
That’s why it shouldn’t be surprising that Obama fails to speak up for human rights time and again. Just last month when asked about China’s poor human rights record
Obama replied, according to DNA that “China has a different political system than we do”; that “China is at a different stage of development than we are”; and that “there has been an evolution in China over the last 30 years” and “my expectation is that 30 years from now we will have seen further evolution and further change.”
A different political system? An evolution? A different stage of development?
That relativistic claptrap is the ideology that makes oppression possible.
JE Dyer wrote a piece at Patheos saying that we’re replacing God with government.
When we chase God out of the public sphere we’re just left with Harry Reid and Barack Obama deciding what our rights are. And that’s a scary thought.

We are, of course, suffering under an appalling cast of characters in D.C. The general disregard for morals there has been evident for a very long time, and the lack of regard for the Constitution should have been more apparent many years ago.
The Democrats have worked consistently for over a century to pervert our republic into a democracy, and they are frighteningly close to their goal.
Sadly, they are too often assisted by those who should know better.

How can anybody remain a constituent of a man who has refuted, rejected and forfeit his obligation, his participation, and his allegiance to our founding principles declared in the Declaration of Independence. Obama has discarded his citizenship and we, his constituents are falling by the wayside in his wake. Obama has annihilated himself and us. Go read the Declaration of Independence. Can anybody, Brennan, Blackmun, Obama read those unalienable rights and support abortion? Not unless one forfeits his citizenship in a nation who upholds the truths of Life, liberty and the pursuit of Happiness, the common good. Being a constituent of a man who embraces the murder of newly begotten innocent life is killing me.

ACTUALLY “I AM”. “I AM” is the name God gives to all newly begotten human beings. God gives us HIS NAME: “I AM WHO I AM”, HE WHO IS, BEING. The soul cries out: “I AM” and the body grows a mouth to proclaim. The soul hears: “I AM” and the body grows ears to hear. The soul cries out: “I AM HE WHO LOVES”, and the body grows a heart. The soul cries out: “I AM HE WHO KNOWS” and the body grows a brain. The soul cries out: “I AM HE WHO SERVES”, and the body grows arms and legs, and chest and back. Those individuals who choose to renounce God, still have souls. Without an acknowledgement of God, they cannot appreciate their soul, their existence, their reason for being, their sovereign personhood. They cannot appreciate OUR CREATOR, WHO makes them human.
It is only when God wills to create a sovereign person's soul, does another human being come into existence. Man and woman can have intercourse until they expire with nothing but futility until God wills life to be and a sovereign person's soul is created by "OUR CREATOR". Atheists deny these "self-evident" "truths" inscribed in The Declaration of Independence, upon which the Constitution for America is predicated, and in doing so voluntarily separate themselves from their citizenship in a country founded upon these principles, "that all men are created equal and endowed by OUR CREATOR with certain unalienable rights and that among these rights are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. FOUNDING PRINCIPLES
The Constitution of the United States of America defines the civil rights of the person. The Declaration of Independence defines the person.
The Framers of our Constitution are the same Founding Fathers who authored the principles of American democracy upon which the Constitution is established, principles that are written in the Declaration of Independence twelve years prior.
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.”
In a court of law only the (self-evident) TRUTH may be given FREEDOM. Atheists deny “our Creator” and our founding principles. Pornography is a dissembling of our innocence and virginity, as we are created. Abortion is murder of a human being created.
Denying the PERSON of GOD civil rights, denies all sovereign persons civil rights.
No court, no law can remove the Declaration of Independence without removing America from the face of the earth.

"OUR CREATOR" endows the sovereign person, THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE documents the sovereign person. The Constitution documents the sovereign person's civil rights endowed by OUR CREATOR. Sovereign personhood is endowed by OUR CREATOR to the newly begotten sovereign person. All sovereignty, personhood and civil rights are held in trust by God, the parents and the state in that order. Because atheism will rear its ugly head as soon as the mention of God as the source of man’s sovereign personhood is acknowledged, it must be said that the duplicity of the atheist is perjury in a court of law. The atheist seceded from the nation and forfeited his (her) rights when he refused his unalienable endowed rights of our Creator and the laws of nature and nature's God in The Declaration of Independence. If a person is not a person, then that person is "PROPERTY".
The virtues of virginity, innocence, moral integrity, charity, compassion, courage and sovereign personhood are endowed by our Creator at the beginning of life, when every person is begotten in the very first moment of life. The virtue of virginity is instilled in every newly begotten single cell, whose sovereign personhood constitutes our nation, whose innocence is the standard for our Justice. Many people, including the Supreme Court in Roe v. Wade said that the newly begotten is not a sovereign person at the first moment of life. The court refused to give the individual substance of a rational nature, St. Thomas Aquinas’ definition of a human being, the benefit of a doubt, something that must be done in a court of law, to the living individual human being whose life, and now DNA gives testimony to his being an individual person. The new life is not part of his mother body nor a blob of tissue, but a sovereign person who will pursue his happiness in
growth into a person with eyes to see, ears to hear, mouth to speak, mind to know and heart to love.
The state is constituted by our sovereign personhood to affirm our sovereignty. The state is established to uphold the laws of nature and nature’s God. The state does not legislate morality because the state does not endow morality. The state has the authority from God and the duty through the citizens’ sovereign personhood, to protect and promote the morality endowed by Our CREATOR. Denying a person, who is a citizen, the freedom and right to praise and acknowledge God is not in the state’s power, nor is it the duty of the state to deny to any person any of the rights endowed by OUR CREATOR in the Declaration of Independence. The sovereign state does not give life and therefore, the state cannot take life or fund the taking of life with other peoples’ tax money, without violating its founding principles and becoming an accomplice to homicide. The only authority the state has over life is to protect and promote all that is conducive to life.

Do you understand that our Nation is founded on the Constitution, and not upon the Declaraction of Independence?
The rights in "Obamacare", as you call it, including the right not to be ejected from your health insurance policy because you got sick. Now you may say that "right" comes from God if you wish; I won't object. But ENFORCING that right is a function of government, and it is one difference between Democrats and Republicans.
God is not a Senator, although our system would surely work better if He were. Since He is not, we do indeed have to work with Harry Reed and such moral luminaries as David "Diaper Prostitute" Vitter.

There are multiple founding documents, of which the DoI and Constitution are only two. I personally like the Northwest Ordinance, as it gave the structure for admission of new states/territories…
I'm pretty sure insurance companies can't boot you for getting sick, but they can refuse coverage if you are already sick (or charge prohibitively expensive premiums). Just like I can buy flood insurance for my house now, but not when it's already flooded.
Oh, and health insurance is not a right. Health CARE should be available to all, but there's no right to insurance.

The American Revolutionary War was fought for the Declaration of Independence. America was founded on July 4th 1776 upon the Declaration of Independence and objective ordering of rights and the necessity of rights. Human existence is the criterion for the objective ordering of rights. Right to Life is necesary for the Right to Liberty and the Right to own property. Liberty without LIFE is dead. Rights conflicts are resolved according to the objective ordering of rights without which "WE" have war. (Because the "vote" is flawed, tyranny of the majority can result.) That American culture has become disfigured by the subjective ordering of rights, instead of the objective ordering of rights. The Supreme Court , itself, subject to the Declaration of Independence has said, the constitution is what we say it is. NO. The Constitution is the objective ordering of rights, endowed by OUR CREATOR, unalienable and self-evident, based on the criterion of human existence. When one person is denied civil rights, all persons are denied civil rights. There are three Persons in the Trinity of God. If One Person, Jesus Christ, is denied civil rights, all persons are denied civil rights. If the Person of "OUR CREATOR" the endower of unalienable civil rights is denied civil rights, all persons are denied unalienalbe civil rights. If one person espousing atheism denies himself civil rights endowed by our Creator, that atheist may not deny the existence of the human being as the criterion for the objective ordering of rights, and the unalienable rights endowed by OUR CREATOR.
