You’ve got to read this. Seriously messed up. A Planned Parenthood employee was holding a 14 year old girl in a Planned Parenthood clinic against the father’s wishes. A clinic employee even lied to police to keep the girl.
I guess it happened in 2008 but it flew under the radar of the media. Surprise. Surprise. The fact is the media is in bed with Planned Parenthood and won’t do anything to hurt them. They’ve tried to ignore Lila Rose for years.
Our job (you too) as new media types is to keep pushing. If we want the feds to defund Planned Parenthood it’s going to take a real push from all of us. If you know of lawsuits or horror stories about abortion clinics blog about it, send it to us, send it to LifeNews.com or LifeSiteNews.com. Get it out there.
We have momentum but so much is aligned against us. Please realize how damaging it would be to lose hundreds of millions in federal funding. And it’s within grasp right now. Lila Rose’s videos have started this ball rolling, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie showed it can be done. Now we need to keep the ball rolling.
Check this out from Life News.
On the heels of a slate of new videos showing Planned Parenthood centers in three states and Washington, D.C. assisting alleged sex traffickers in getting abortions for underage girls, a new report shows problems at a Washington state abortion business.
A newly-uncovered police report concerning a September 2008 incident reveals staff at a Kennewick, Washington Planned Parenthood doing everything possible to arrange an abortion for a 14-year-old girl who had been a victim of statutory rape by a 20-year-old man. The staff also try to keep the young girl at the Planned Parenthood center against her father’s will.

Also, at plannedparenthoodcorruption.com, you can sign up for a webcast this evening at 9 p.m. EST. If you visit the site, you can receive info about the content of the webcast, but it's basically about a prosecutor who has found evidence of criminal activity from documents he gathered from PP. Efforts are being made to attack him, but that's really nothing new. I think anyone who attempts to do anything for God should expect some type of attack. Expecting good from the world for exposing evil is pretty silly.

Thank you for that info.

This story is strange on several levels. Why did the father even bring the daughter to the clinic in the first place?

With information like this and the recent Live Action videos coming out, I have to wonder, how much of profits of Planned Parenthood come from the sex workers, human trafficking, and compromised girls.
@Paul Zummo. I wonder the same.

What strikes me is the complete disregard for the child in the womb from all players. No one even considers the child as a factor at all.
The PP staffers weren't trying to force the girl into having an abortion. They were, in their minds, providing her the "service" for which she came. She came wanting an abortion and she was going to leave with a referral to where she could get one. It's common, I think, for social workers and others who work with minors to ignore the law or stretch legal definitions when they pretend to be working in the best interest of a minor. The fact that they had never met this family, yet came to the quick conclusion that the father was a potential murderer is indicative of how many in the child protective services arena work. They regard themselves as misunderstood champions of minors everywhere. Everyone else, the family, the father of the child, the police, is an enemy to the minor except them. They are the ones who know best and only they have the best interest of the minor at heart.
The father of the 14yo girl is an idiot. Not only did he have his head and heart in the wrong place by helping his minor daughter abort his grandchild, but he obviously has a habit of lying when he thinks it will cover his a**. I hope it's just that the circumstances overwhelmed him and he comes to his senses when things calm down.
The police officer is to be commended for his excellant handling of a very difficult situation.

Paul-
For an abortion.
Probably didn't realize how far along the pregnancy was, which would also explain why the girl was "afraid of her father." (Assuming the staffer wasn't lying.)
Washington has a lot of very stupid laws about what children over age 13 in a medical situation have a "right" to do, and I think it gets abused a lot by medical personnel.
The run-down of the Moses Lake Police Department sounds about right for their office, though. >.< (It's sad when a cowboy has to inform the police about the laws of an area….)

Foxfier is right, which is why I didn't post this story myself. I read the entire police report. The father brought her there for an abortion and there is absolutely no indication that the PP employees were keeping her there in order to *force* her to obtain an abortion against her father's wishes. He never told police he didn't want her to get an abortion, just that he wanted her to go home with him. She told PP (and the police officer) that she was "afraid" to for some reason and that's why they were keeping her there.

Just to clarify – I still think PP was wrong to try to keep the girl there, but I didn't find any evidence that it was because he no longer wanted her to get an abortion.

There is something else going on and the confusion reflects this missing piece. Three points are clear. 1) PP could care less about the parental rights of the father. If they were really concerned, they could have all sat down in a "counseling room and get everyone "discus" the matter. 2) PP wanted to push the abortion even at the later term. 3) The PP employee either did not know the law or thought she could bamboozle the police officer with this emancipation baloney. She also did not want to listen to him at all. Her arrogance was typical.
My assessment. The girl initially did NOT want the abortion but is being coerced by father because he does not like the boyfriend, does not like the fact his 14 year old is pregnant and does not want to deal with it. She is worn down, afraid for the boyfriend, but knows that PP will not help her if she said she wants the baby. She is hoping the boyfriend will "rescue" her. Meanwhile the father has found out the age of the baby, and/or the cost, and/or the referral issue is now even MORE upset and just wants to leave. He tells them to bring out his daughter. PP goes into – no one tells us anything mode – and refuses. Daughter is afraid to go home for a whole host of reasons plus she is hoping for the "rescue." The father is afraid PP will have him arrested and starts lying. Cop gets upset at everyone for even calling the police and DOES not like being there.
Sounds crazy. I can tell you dozens of real life stories that make this episode look like a walk in the park.
