Bottom line. The leave does not mean he is guilty and there is no accusation of criminal conduct.

Is it just me, or do others find it disturbing that the statement by Rev. Gerald Sheehan contains several errors? Or did you in fact have to type the text in, and introduce the errors in transcription? Cannon in place of Canon, and a couple of missing words. Not catastrophic, but I cannot help wondering that an announcement of such import (apparently) received so little scrutiny.
