I am a bit uneasy about this one. One of those "their hearts were in the right place, but.. ". I mean unless this video is edited, they just stuffed Jesus into a duffel bag and walked around town with it? Respect for the Blessed Sacrament is my problem here.
I think this is a little strange too. Why do we have to flash Jesus? Why not a regular, dignified, procession through the streets of this town? Maybe my reservation is that flash stuff is so faddy right now. Eucharistic adoration should be a cut above the gimmick du jour.
It was good that the civil authorities sent a garbage truck to pick up the evil from the hearts of the unbelievers. They ought to have sent a hearse for the dead of heart. The priest reminded me of Saint Isaac Jogues preaching to the native Indians before he was savagely beaten to death.

This is flat out AWESOME! God bless these courageous and humble men. I have a feeling that Jesus, who was blasted by the Pharisees for associating with sinners, highly approves of this.
This reminds me of St Paul preaching to the Athenians about the God who us Unknown. It is very much like what Jesus said about the way to heaven being narrow and the way to hell being wide.
Extraordinary circumstances often dictate extraordinary measures. The one you describe is one of them (although how hard is it for the chaplain to obtain a pyx?). This is NOT one of them.
I loved this. Of course I want the Eucharist to be respected and dignified but I also love to see Jesus out in the streets. Our Lord was born in a stable and that did not take any glory away from Him. I was actually moved to tears hearing the litany.
The Church has norms for the worship of the Eucharist outside of Mass. They are to be observed, good intentions and/or sentimentalities notwithstanding.

I like the litany of Jesus in the Old Testament.

In prison and jail, we have to carry Jesus in a gladware container. He is Jesus none the less and the inmates know and adore Him.
Come, let us adore.

And please don't "plank" my Jesus. Yikes.
