Here is your daily dose of the ridiculous from a society intent on killing itself.
A pre-school in Sweden has decided to stop calling children ‘him’ or ‘her’ in a bid to avoid gender stereotypes.
The Egalia preschool, in the Sodermalm district of Stockholm, has made the decision as part of the country efforts to engineer equality between the sexes from childhood.
As well as the decision to stop using the words, the taxpayer-funded school also carefully plans the colour and placement of toys and the choice of books to assure they do not fall into stereotypes.
A teacher said this.
‘Society expects girls to be girlie, nice and pretty and boys to be manly, rough and outgoing,’ says Jenny Johnsson, a 31-year-old teacher.
‘Egalia gives them a fantastic opportunity to be whoever they want to be.’
The director of the school had this to say.
‘Society expects girls to be girlie, nice and pretty and boys to be manly, rough and outgoing,’ says Jenny Johnsson, a 31-year-old teacher.
‘Egalia gives them a fantastic opportunity to be whoever they want to be.’
Transgendered kindergartens. What could go wrong.

"Wait, so what DO they call the kids?"
'Meatballs' of course.

"Egalia gives them a fantastic opportunity to be whoever they want
to be".
So what happens if/when children exhibit the discouraged behaviors–
when girls act girly and boys act like boys? Are they punished? Does
the school admit its plan is stupid and pack it in? Does Egalia inform
the little girls that someone who plays with dolls isn't who they
really want to be? Perhaps the parents of the children who
do not respond correctly are to blame, and the school will have to
have those parents 're-educated'.

Because children might shatter the illusion that reality has a basis in observable facts, we are now teaching children to ignore their lying eyes, lying ears and only go with the zen inside provided it is not too overtly pedestrian in nature. Bleah.

Are we sure they are not getting their cues from California?

"Wait, so what DO they call the kids? It? "
They call them "person" or something they made up, a combination of he/she that doesn`t translate well.
Being a swede myself I think this is utter madness, seeing my taxmoney go to bs like this…

They use the gender-neutral pronoun, "Ikea.".

Having dispossessed God of His creation, the public school system will wander in the desert of inanity. The children will become who God created the children to be, in spite of the coercion, mental abuse, soul kidnapping and disrespect heaped upon them. The children's innate dignity will make itself known and when the children grow older, they will be very angry over being swindled, whittled down like objects in the hands of their handlers.

P.S. The only way the handlers can avoid being failures is to avoid death and dying. Good luck with that.

So I think I should send my boys in there to beat the crap out of anyone who tries to steal a little girls' babydoll. They have majored in Jedi "agressive negotiations" afterall:)
Boys and girls are different. It's in the wiring duh! Of course, school teachers wouldn't get that!

What these "Swedish Goofballs" and other Liberal PC folks don't understand is that it isn't the words "he" or "she" that make boys boys and girls girls.
In Filipino languages (such as Tagalog and Visayan) there are no words for he or she.
The Visayan word for "they" (sila) is like our word …..gender neutral, meaning "those people".
Likewise, when referring to one person, the word in Visayan is siya. Gender neutral, meaning "that person".
In spite of the gender neutral language, in Philippines, men are men and women are women.(probably more so than in Sweden, I might add).

Do they re-name the children also, or require them to use gender neutral names? Such utter silliness!

I read on another site that they call the children "friend". I am beginning to think that my Norwegian father's (and his family) prejudice against the Swedes was nothing but great insight.
