Vice President Joe Biden again mistakenly tells the truth.
Biden, speaking in China yesterday, says he understands their need for forced sterilizations and forced abortions, according to The Weekly Standard.
I’m warning you -hold onto your lunch. It gets worse from there.
What we ended up doing is setting up a system whereby we did cut by $1.2 trillion upfront, the deficit over the next 10 years. And we set up a group of senators that have to come up with another $1.2 to $1.7 trillion in savings or automatically there will be cuts that go into effect in January to get those savings. So the savings will be accomplished. But as I was talking to some of your leaders, you share a similar concern here in China. You have no safety net. Your policy has been one which I fully understand — I’m not second-guessing — of one child per family. The result being that you’re in a position where one wage earner will be taking care of four retired people. Not sustainable.
So hopefully we can act in a way on a problem that’s much less severe than yours, and maybe we can learn together from how we can do that.
Hopefully?!!! Hopefully?!!!
My goodness, it’s almost like this administration views babies like a punishment or something.
I’m sure we can all expect massive outrage from feminists in 3…2….1….er…uhm…maybe I should start with a higher number?
Update: The more I think about this the more horrified I become. It’s bad enough to stay silent on human rights issues because we essentially owe China a gazillion dollars but to call this barbarism understandable is just horrible.

The dumbest man in the Senate strikes again. Biden is about three feet deep. He just likes to run his mouth constantly. It's comical.

LOL! I LOVE Joe Biden! Nothing makes my day more that Libs who totally blow their cover! Bwaaahaaahaaa! We have a great Lib here in Chicago, Jan Schakowsky–a treasure trove of quotable quotes. I want to encourage all you wacky members of congress and members of the executive branch to keep flapping those gums of yours. Not only are you making us all crack up–something we badly need–but you're confirming verbally what we all see with our own eyeballs but find it hard to admit: that you guys are running us into the ground on purpose. Thanks Joe!

Every time this deplorable clown opens his yap he says something more asinine than the time before. If Biden didn't exist, we'd have to invent him. Too bad for us that he ISN'T a fictional character.

And people are worried about what Sarah Palin will say?!

Tragic. I used to live in Wilmington… friends at his parish witnessed him attend DAILY MASS. How can you do this and be such a man? Biden is more than a failed person. He is a symptom of a failed Church in need of desperate reform. Alice Thomas Ellis once described our sad Church in this way:
"It is as though … one's revered, dignified and darling old mother had slapped on a mini-skirt and fishnet tights and started ogling strangers. A kind of menopausal madness, a sudden yearning to be attractive to all. It is tragic and hilarious and awfully embarrassing. And of course, those who knew her before feel a great sense of betrayal and can't bring themselves to go and see her any more."

Better to be silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.
Joe "the fool" Biden, the O's life insurance policy.

What I cannot understand is the continued silence on the part of our shepherds while men like this go around and claim to be devout Catholics and look the other way in the face of the greatest evils on the face of the earth. The shepherds who enable Biden and his ilk are collaborators in his approval of evil. They also have much to answer for.

AND – why is there no fuss raised about the sinister warning of Biden's about the four elderly people being supported by one wage earner? If that doesn't scream Soylent Green, I don't know what does!

I can't understand it. Maybe the Vice President can explain it to us, what it is he understands.

Keep praying that rosary Joe. Maybe say it a thousand more times and it will start to sink in.

It sounds to me as if he meant he "fully understood" the content of what their policy is and that it was that policy that led to China's terrible demographic situation, not that he was saying "I fully understand" (as in, "I agree with") the policy.
That said, it was still a stupid statement in the usual Biden way. But not in the same way you and The Weekly Standard take it.

But I agree it's horrifying. I had no hope for the Obama administration the moment Hilary Clinton said we weren't going to talk to China about human rights because there were other things to talk about right now. But then, I had no hope for helping China when I watched the fawning coverage of China during the Olympics. And apparently it's okay for us to buy flayed Chinese bodies and set them up in amusing poses to gawk at in museums. So our relationship to China is insane anyway.

It's so tragic that the complicity of the hierarchy with all these pro-abort politicians is deleted from this blog.
Hope the money is helping your family.
