I read an article which said that if the Romney campaign had requested someone from Fox News to moderate one of the debates, the Obama campaign would have insisted on having someone from MSNBC included. Folks like Jim Lehrer and company are pleasant and moderate compared to the freak show at MSNBC.

I call it the Al Smith Dinner Syndrome. It's when a group of people constantly claiming to be mistreated by the left put being cozy with celebrity news reporters and politicians ahead of substance and principles. It will be a fail–an epic one.
