The other night I was watching a college basketball game between my alma mater Saint Joseph’s University and Notre Dame. It was part of the Coaches vs. Cancer to raise money for cancer research. There was a logo saying so on the bottom of the screen when my nine year old came down from bed to ask for a glass of water. She looked at the screen and then tilted her head as if she was trying to understand something.

She finally looked at me and asked, “Is the team in white Cancer?”

And she’s one of my smarter ones. At least I thought she was.
