Perfect. You know I see that a judge blocked the fetal heartbeat bill in North Dakota so I look up the judge expecting that he was appointed by a Democrat. But nooooooooo. George W. Bush appointed this guy to the bench. Makes you feel good, doesn’t it?
The Hill reports:
A federal judge on Monday temporarily blocked North Dakota’s anti-abortion law, which banned the procedure as early as six weeks into a pregnancy.
Judge Daniel Hovland said the state’s anti-abortion law — the most restrictive in the country — is “clearly unconstitutional under an unbroken stream of United States Supreme Court authority.”
The state’s law prohibits abortion once a fetal heartbeat is detected, which can come as early as six weeks, even before some women know they are pregnant.
“The State has extended an invitation to an expensive court battle over a law restricting abortions that is a blatant violation of the constitutional guarantees afforded to all women,” Hovland wrote.
The law was set to take effect Aug. 1, but Hovland granted an injunction that bars the restrictions from taking effect while the courts consider its merits.
I love how he brings up the cost of defending the law. You know, because left-leaning people are always so concerned with how much government money is being spent. Yeah, they really stretch every nickel, don’t they? But when it comes to protecting human life, they all become penny pinchers.

Our Constitutional posterity have an unalienable Right to Life.
Healing the sick and raising the dead, since the beginning of the history has been and is charity shown towards others. The payment given to healers is actually providing that he be there for his next patient. This, too, is charity. My point is simply that under the principle of separation of church and state, the government through Obamacare and the HHS Mandate cannot dictate what and how the ordinary citizen must practice the virtue of charity.
While government has been in our bedroom dictating the legalization of sodomy, government may not be in our soul without our permission to dictate our spiritual and corporal works of mercy.

Why is it surprising that some judge is pro-abortion?

Once again the GOP proves its true colors.
So, here are our choices – The Republicans who lie to Christians about their support for life and traditional morality and the Democrats who lie about their concern for the poor and the environment.

@FGA: What you're saying is, "There are no peaceful options for Christians in the United States. The US government is wholly, irretrievably corrupt."
So why aren't you advocating its forcible overthrow? A government as unworkable as you're claiming ours is is intolerable to a moral person. So why do you tolerate it? Are you a coward, or have you sold your soul to it?
I do of course speak rhetorically. We all know you don't mean a word of it. You just like the pose of having seen through both sides, and being able to position yourself as morally superior to both—while doing nothing whatsoever about anything.

Bravo and amen!
Not counting on a failed country and government.
I'm with the BVM.
