Just what you want in a kids show about Disney characters. Bisexuality. Hey, it’s never to young to learn, you know.
You think about it, making Mulan bisexual in the ABC show Once Upon a Time isn’t really even thinking outside the box. Oh sure, make the princess who wanted to be one of the boys and fight in battles a bisexual. Yeah, that’s a leap. In fact, one could even say that ABC is stereotyping because their image of a bisexual isn’t the cute Snow White or the beautiful Sleeping Beauty. No, it’s the chick with the sword who dresses like a man. Way to go all 21st century guys. Sheesh.
The scene itself isn’t exactly in your face but it’s pretty clear what’s going on.

Disney didn't invent fairy tales or Princesses. Also, just because ABC is owned by Disney, doesn't mean that this is a show for kids about Disney Princesses. It's a prime time show that is clearly aimed for adults, Monitor the shows your kids watch and you'll never be surprised by the content of the shows. Do a little research before you let the TV babysit your child.

The trolls are getting even more brazen and potty-mouthed than usual, I see…

The main arguments of the article are incorrect.
1. It's not a kid's TV show
2. It's based on fairy tales, not Disney.
In the original tales, many of them died. Disney actually cleaned them up and gave them happy endings.
I also agree that parents need to monitor what their kids watch and don't let the TV be the babysitter.
Articles like this are just spreading ignorance and furthermore, is pushing the responsibility of good parenting onto ABC rather than the people at home in control of the TV.

I agree, it is not a TV show for children and parents do need to monitor what their children are watching. My sister is bisexual and for her it's never an easy thing to explain, especially when it came to my children. In my opinion, it's us parents who should talk to our children about these topics so that they don't try and figure out from what they see on the internet or the TV. There's a great book out called “The Children of Gavrilek” by Julie Kirtón Chandler, http://www.juliekirtonchandler.com. It touches on bisexuality and might be worth checking out.
