“It’s almost like saying that I’m walking into McDonald’s but they’re supposed to put up a notice that says across the street a Burger King or something better is offered.” -Sandra Palacios, associate director for governmental relations for the California Catholic Conference.

It’s like that. But different.

The state assembly of California passed a bill 49-26 requiring licensed pro-life pregnancy centers to inform women of state programs including free abortion. Unlicensed pro-life centers would be forced to inform women that they are not licensed as a medical clinic.
The bill will now go to the Senate.

In the state, there are about 200 crisis pregnancy centers.

This is nothing short of stripping Christians of their right to free speech. You see, if you’re pro-life you don’t have rights.
