Well, the bad news is that a Reagan appointed Court of Appeals justice from the 9th Circuit, Alex Kozinski, has been harassing female coworkers for decades. Ick.
The good news is that he announced Monday that he would retire effective immediately after allegations of sexual misconduct.
The better news (if one were to view things through a crass political lens) is that Donald Trump gets to appoint his successor. I suggest a kid who’s like 23 years old so they can stay on the bench for half a decade. And maybe a graduate of Hillsdale College or one of the Newman Guide colleges. I’d be good with that.
