A retired three-star general has been suspended for replying to a Jill Biden tweet regarding abortion on Twitter, according to The Blaze.
Retired Lt. Gen. Gary Volesky earned a Silver Star. Retired now, Volesky was working as an advisor for advise active-duty officers. So it was a civilian role, to be clear.
After the Dobbs decision was issued, Jill Biden ran to Twitter and tweeted out the most mundane talking point ever which was clearly written by committee:
“For nearly 50 years, women have had the right to make our own decisions about our bodies. Today, that right was stolen from us. And while we may be devastated by this injustice, we will not be silent. We will not sit back as the progress we have already won slips away.”
Volesky brilliantly replied: “Glad to see you finally know what a woman is.”
Yeah the guy got suspended from his job for it but that delivery of snark hit its intended target big time. I remember a time when civilian Americans were supposed to be free to get snarky with those residing in the halls of power. Guess not, anymore, huh?
So, was it worth it?
If there were silver stars given out for snark, you would’ve earned one today.
