This was done by Merriam-Webster because of Matt Walsh’s documentary “What is a Woman?” The left knew they had a problem on their hands that would be exploited. They knew that they’d be asked over and over in election years to define what a woman is.
And they wouldn’t be able to do it. So, they applied some pressure and voila!!! Merriam-Webster changes the definition.

According to my sources, the dictionary company did not actually change the nature of reality. Men are still men and women are still women. This is just infrastructure for the left’s empire of lies.

As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be.
Radicals can create an empire of lies, a shadow reality but it is not actually reality. They are glad to live in the lie but lies can only last so long. This madness has an expiration date. I don’t know when it is but truth and beauty will prevail.

Whoever came up with and agreed to use that definition should be fired twice. First for defining something by what it is not. Second they/them claim that gender is fluid, so how can there be an opposite? Maybe they should have looked up the definition of opposite.

I agree. What is the definition of “male”? Do they refer to it as the opposite of female, so you’re caught in a loop? This is how you can tell a decision was made by a corporate employee, not an experienced logophile. The logophile would have figured out a way to make it fit within the rhythm and scheme of the dictionary. The corporate employee figures it can’t be that hard and just throws something in there.

My first thought (other than agreeing with you on the idiocy of it) was: what will they call “parts” that have nothing to do with sex? So I looked it up and the definition continues as follows…
3 : designed with a hollow or groove into which a corresponding male part fits
//the female coupling of a hose
So apparently while they CAN actually make stuff up, at least they haven’t gotten to this yet LOL
