Just to be clear, you will get cancelled online for saying anything negative about the LGBT community. However, if you mock the Catholic faith you will be honored and applauded by the media and Major League baseball.
Crap rolls downhill and you live in the valley.

another thing to boycott…ya know, boycotting all these products, companies, etc. has been great for my bank account and for all the time it has freed up to read and spend time with the kids.

God bless Archbishop Cordileone and Bishop Barron for having the courage to speak up in defense of Catholic sisters and our Faith. I am certain that this will do nothing to improve their popularity in society, but in the end, what matters is what God thinks. I am astonished that the USCCB – particularly its president, who is the head of the Diocese of Los Angeles – has made no public statement.
Two years ago, my Cleveland Indians changed their name to the Cleveland Guardians. I thought this was the most awful thing that could happen to Major League Baseball, and it hurt, although I continued to be loyal to my team. I was so wrong to be so short-sighted.
*This* is the most awful thing to happen to Major League Baseball – American’s national pastime. For a hate group – and make no mistake, that is exactly what they are – to be honored and recognized by the Los Angeles Dodgers is despicable. And it brings the LA Dodgers to the same level of bigotry, hatred, and ignorant prejudice as the SPI.
Good for Bishop Barron to call for a boycott of the Dodgers. He well knows, as a former auxiliary bishop of the LA Diocese, the exquisite and fervent Catholic faith of both the Hispanic and Anglo communities in Los Angeles. I pray that they all follow through and stand up for our Faith. When any one of us is targeted, we all are targeted. We are better than this. As Confirmed Catholics, we all need to stop being “nice” and to start defending our beloved Church. Pentecost Sunday is an excellent day to start.
