These are the same people who consider themselves feminists. How does this not end in tragedy?
The national governing body for amateur/Olympic-style boxing recently codified a rule permitting male participation in the women’s division in its 2024 rulebook.
USA Boxing said that to qualify for the female division, a man must declare his gender identity as female, have undergone gender reassignment surgery, have done hormone testing for a minimum of four years after such procedures, and have met testosterone limits set by USA Boxing.
But still a dude.
This will end in disaster.
\USA boxing @USABoxing to allow men who merely say they are women to fight against women.

Mark my words, it will take a woman getting killed before these misogynistic fools wake up. https://t.co/GSNKgqtMd2

Hmm… longer reach, heavier bones, greater muscle mass…
What could possibly go wrong??
I’m so sick of the narcissistic mentally sick men who are even pushing for this. In swimming, track, cycling and other individual sports, it’s an outrage. In physical contact sports and team sports, it’s an outright recipe for injury and harm leading to death.
Just… wow… the misogyny of a man not only wanting to dominate a woman’s space, but to take that even further with physical beating and domination. Soon we’ll be hearing of domestic abusers (men to women), “Oh, if only he could have transitioned and been able to compete in MMA.” Sick sick sick.
This issue really gets under my skin as a female athlete (high school cross country- was top 12 in the district). Not good enough for scholarships, but good enough to know personally the girls who were. It makes my blood boil to see these men take away opportunities from hard working young women.

A sick (mentally) young man who cannot perform against other men will seek power against weaker men or women. Not a new story, just new acceptance. As our culture accepts these “new” concepts we descend deeper into despair. Just remember the last chapter and who ultimately wins!
Hold on tight, it’s going to get a lot bumpier!
