Thank you to Cardinal Sarah for pointing this out. It’s not like we all don’t talk about this all the time but it’s good to know that there are still yet some in the Vatican who take this seriously, who understand that the death of the West would be a grievous blow to the world.
We are neglecting to have enough children and we are importing millions upon millions who do not hold to the values of the West. This will end in tragedy.

Spot-on. I live in Minnesota, a so-called “island” of reproductive rights. We are surrounded by states that are practically tyrannical, according to our governor. He held a press conference yesterday at a Planned Parenthood facility to state his mission of further enshrining abortion “care” in our state. The PP facilities are increasing staff and hours in order to accommodate all those who come here to kill their babies. Like the good Cardinal, I can’t help but read this news and keep hopeful for our future. We plead for God’s mercy.

He said there was a challenge for political leaders and church leaders to convey the truth about what was happening and to counter the disinformation which was “unalloyed racism” and “unvarnished xenophobia”.
