I detect no lies.
Is it a fair criticism? I think so.
Is he the right messenger for it? Probably not, considering the guy’s been publicly waffling on the issue of faith for years now. I don’t mean he’s waffling in a mocking sense. I sense that he’s truly struggling and I believe he’s a man of good will.
Anyway, Peterson says the Church is choosing “relevance” over the cross. I would differ from that by pointing out that many in the hierarchy of the Church have chosen relevance over the cross but many have not. Many, like CMR readers, have been critical of this movement. But I mostly agree with his point.

Never understood the love affair that trads have with this guy.
He is a guy who stands outside of the tent and pi***s in, but won’t come into the tent and help clean things up.

Not answering for the trad community, but will share where I’m coming from…
“Love affair” ~ not really. Insane levels of respect for a man (and a white one at that!) who was willing to stand up to the leftist insanity and refuse to have his government mandate his speech? Absolutely. Time and again, Mr. Peterson stands up for what is good, true and beautiful ~ all while not (yet!) being in the One, True Church.
Why would anyone (yet alone someone whose level of intelligence far surpasses the majority of the planet) choose to even begin to look into coming into a Church when the people inside of said Church says things like, “You stand outside the tent and piss in it”?!!!! Shouldn’t we be saying, “Hey, you’re outside of my tent, please come in and make yourself at home while I fix you a nice, warm meal and make you a comfy bed to rest your weary head in. It’s a brutal world out there, sir! You’ll find peace here that surpasses all worldly understanding.”
We should be welcoming EVERYONE into “the tent” , right? And if we welcome one of the most amazing men that is standing up to all this diabolical insanity, that’ll be a win for our team ~ and an eternal win for his soul. His wife has converted; I pray he’s not far behind.

Never said that I would not welcome him into the Church.
But, obviously, he has no interest in it. (I would imagine that his wife has invited him in) .
Regarding the level of his superior level of intelligence:
I am not swayed by, nor do I bend the knee to those of supposed superior intellect.
Our Lord did not have much use for them.

I’m curious what points of Jordan you DON’T agree with in this clip?!!!!!!!! In my view, he hits the nail completely on the head.
Years ago, someone (can’t remember who to give them credit) talked about why so many young men were converting to Islam and the answer was because it was hard and challenging and required great effort; “Christianity”/Catholicism, in general, doesn’t offer that ~ thus the guitars and women on the altar. What MAN would be inspired by 80 year old Mrs. Jones preparing the gifts at Mass?!!!!!
Thus, and yes I dare say it!, the ONLY response to this crisis is the Traditional Latin Mass and the ACTUAL Catholic Faith that was taught up until V2 (and a little bit through Pope Benedict XVI). My trad parish is FILLED TO THE BRIM with young men!

i understand the draw of a tradition that has a place for men and for fatherhood. it has been down graded and subdued, though not forbidden outright in our Church This is an inculturaration of error, along with an appreciation of the dignity of women. that is proper, and sometimes a bit diminished in the TLM circles
