Is it a fair criticism? I think so.

Is he the right messenger for it? Probably not, considering the guy’s been publicly waffling on the issue of faith for years now. I don’t mean he’s waffling in a mocking sense. I sense that he’s truly struggling and I believe he’s a man of good will.

Anyway, Peterson says the Church is choosing “relevance” over the cross. I would differ from that by pointing out that many in the hierarchy of the Church have chosen relevance over the cross but many have not. Many, like CMR readers, have been critical of this movement. But I mostly agree with his point.
