This would be hilarious if it weren’t so disturbing.

We had that other guy in Congress worrying about Guam tipping over and then we got this guy supposedly in charge of it all.

And you want the really really really bad news? We’re losing to these guys. That should disturb you more than anything. These nincompoops are routing us on every front. Gender fluidity? Racism? Abortion? These guys are kicking our butts.

But it’s not because we’re all stupid. It’s because too many of us are spineless. We just want to be left alone to live our lives. We don’t want to offend anyone. We don’t want to say anything that will upset the stupid or corrupt people.

That is not, however, what we are called to do. We are called to evangelize. We are called to share God’s love with the world, not cower in fear of being called a Christian Nationalist or a deplorable or a fundamentalist or whatever term they’re using now.

Will there be consequences? Yes. The stupid and corrupt don’t like to be interrupted with truth. But that’s what we’re called to do.
