You know, back in the old days, if you shot someone, that was pretty much a dead giveaway—you hated the guy. But now? Now everyone’s gotta’ inscribe some message on their bullets. Like, it’s a form of communication. And I’m thinkin’, why not just cut out the middleman? If you shoot someone, let’s just assume you hate ‘em. But no, people are waiting, you know—they’re waiting to see if it’s the “right kind” of hate. Like, “Is this the kind of hate that’s acceptable?
And then you’ve got God, right? God says, “Thou shalt not kill.” Pretty straightforward. But we’re over here, scratching our heads, going, “Well, depends who’s doing the killing and who they hate, doesn’t it?” It’s like we’re saying, “God, I appreciate your rules, but can I get a second opinion here.” There’s nuance here, right?
Wrong. Is you’re killing someone over politics, it doesn’t matter which side you’re on. It’s hateful. It’s evil. No discussion. I don’t care how “touching” your love note to your transitioning boyfriend is.
So, in the end, you don’t need go get all poetic or write something in pretty cursive on the bullet. Let’s just all agree that killing is evil and…yeah… hateful.

People kill for all kinds of reasons, not only hatred. Examples of other motives are trivially easy to think of.

It’s a total disregard for innocent human life. I don’t believe many think it’s hateful. Look at the deliberate killing of the unborn. I guarantee you many think that it’s not hateful, because you cannot hate something that is just a clump of cells the way you do a human being. All the celebrations over the assassination of Kirk, does it seem like they all thought it was hateful or deserved?

We are living in strange times. It is an obviously evil time. You cannot reason with evil that is bent on destruction of humans. Think of Hamas refusal to recognize the right of Israel to exist.
