This is a great example of the problems of equality as applied to culture, and religion,instead of to the human person in the framework of natural law.
We cannot believe our lying eyes telling us that diverse cultures and religions are sometimes flat out evil because they don’t follow western thought and Catholic beliefs that we just assume all men of good will should possess.
We tend to distinguish things by Aristotelian kind and degree, by substance and accidents.
Unjust discrimination happens when we say we can’t substitute Ruth for Aaron since they perform equally.
Idiocy happens when you discount the effect of the cultural values that each man grew up in, though both were in America.
But we have a broad American value system which both men share.

Tell a Muslim who is ok with girl marriage and child abduction, slavery and abuse that you are free to roam about the country on Southwest Airlines and expect him to act like the good Muslims in Blue Bloods and Law and Order?
Well, even the lady detective who bows to no man, ends up wearing a hijab when she goes to the mosque, and that’s in the show with the good Muslims.

Now we’re into sex differences, where we’ve also become stupid. Watching the cute girl cop tackle the 200 lb male suspect and wrestle him to the ground or the lady fireman lift the heavy load?
This is ideology stupid. A valid premise is infected with heresy and expected to crank out the same results.
