So the New Jersey teacher’s union issued a memo that included a prayer for the death of Governor Chris Christie. According to CBS, the prayer goes:
“Dear Lord this year you have taken away my favorite actor, Patrick Swayze, my favorite actress, Farrah Fawcett, my favorite singer, Michael Jackson, and my favorite salesman, Billy Mays. I just wanted to let you know that Chris Christie is my favorite governor.”
While this is obviously a low class act fit only for Tea Partiers and pro-lifers there is a bright side. Who’d a thunk that the teacher’s union believes in God?
Wait, aren’t they state employees? What about the separation of Church and state? Gee, I hope the ACLU doesn’t find out about this.

Matthew, this was actually a recently-created joke, and the first time it was widely published, it ended with "Nancy Pelosi is my House Speaker". I think it's an equal opportunity joke in that sense, not a real letter. No matter to whom it's directed, though, I would agree that it nearly crosses the line for me in terms of comedy.

I thought it was funny, and applicable in an [insert butt of joke] manner. This joke is truly bi-partisan.
Lighten up.

I think the Democrats need a lot of prayers – specially of this kind.

How dare they have an opinion about their governor? They should take a lesson from the Republicans and give full respect to those in elected office.

Visit http://www.TheCartelMovie.com for more info. A feature-length documentary about our urgent national need for school choice, "The Cartel" shows us our failing educational system like weve never seen it before.
In this hard-hitting film by reporter and news anchor Bob Bowdon, "The Cartel" exposes the corruption, waste, and intimidation in our nations public schools. Arguing that our public school system wastes billions of dollars each year, while our children learn less and less, "The Cartel" makes a compelling case for far-reaching and immediate reform centered on school choice.

Gov Christie can use this to show that he has the Union's support for his policies. He's their favorite governor!

My I also suggest:
"Not without my sarcasm!"
Witness courageous commentors making way too big of deal out of a little Friday snark. Watch as the warriors defend the big issues: being able to wish death on your enemies in a public forum.
I hear it's reaaaally good.
