Remember the “classic” movie “Snakes on a Plane.” Well, this is like that. But different. Here, in this reality follow-up a snake is on the windshield of a minivan. Mom screams, laughs, and I’m pretty sure cries a little bit. Little kid in back seems to be ordering the snake to fall. The Dad? Well, our hero does what all heroes do -he starts taping it with his phone. What a man!
I’ll admit it’s pretty freaky.

I have a snake phobia, so if this happened to me I'd probably crash my minivan and kill us all. Eeeek!

Cool. Water moccasin along for the ride. Nice touch in set design with the flip flops on the dash…

Is that a moccasin? It doesn't look very moccasiny, although granted, I'm not a snake expert nor am I sure this video offers the best way to identify it.

I'm pretty sure that's just a diamond backed water snake. They're not venomous, but they'll bite and defecate on you if you handle them. But the head is too small for a water moccasin, and the color bands are wrong.

Two words: windshield wipers.

Generally, when I have a distraction while I'm driving I get into the right lane. Cool that dad took that video though, otherwise no one would have grasped the weirdness of it.

Why on earth didn't they just pull over and let the snake fall to the ground and slither away instead of driving on and letting the snake get run over?! It seems they let an animal die needlessly. And no, just because it's a snake and not a kitten doesn't lessen their culpability in abetting the death of one of nature's [God's] creatures.

I once found a bucket of fried chicken spilled on my car wind-shield when I came out of my apartment to head to work. It was a good story for a while. I didn't eat the chicken, but I've been told snake tastes like chicken. Weird, but not that scary.

I'm in agreement with what ludovico said. I actually said almost the same thing to my husband – if it were a kitten they'd pull over! The poor thing died needlessly.

Andy,
"Windshield Viper".

I have to agree with Ludovico too. Needlessly.
