I love the left. They live in such a fantasy world. When the economy is totally in the crapper, they protest in the streets demanding everyone get paid, even with no job. You have to love people who do not let reality get in the way of their world view.
So even the lunatic left needs entertainment right? So they are release the lefty feel-good comedy of the year. In reality, electric cars are a disaster. This is reality.
General Motors has repeatedly claimed a sales target for 2011 of 10,000 units for the plug-in hybrid Chevy Volt sedan. But, nine months into the year, theyโve only shipped 3,895 off the lot. In fact, in September sales numbers, released an hour ago, GM sold only 723 Volts.
So this is the movie they release. A movie all about how the electric car has revolutionized the auto industry, starring GM and the Chevy Volt.
But even the few lefties who admit the pathetic sales numbers try to spin it into something good.
GM and Nissan selling cars is not the point, they say. It is all about a learning experience. Sales don’t matter. Learning about what doesn’t sell is all that matters. You know what doesn’t sell? Neither electric cars or propaganda movies about electric cars.

Any company that produces products people don't want, won't stay in business for long. Unless they're funded by the gov't.
Too bad Toyota doesn't make a "Suburban". If they did, I'd buy their brand instead of our Chevy…

Utopian madness. They have already pulled out all the electric car charging stations at Cosco because NO ONE WAS USING THEM. The "learning experience" they are never willing to have is that free markets work efficently and generate wealth. Government intervention does the opposite.
It seems like these green geniuses have no idea where electricity comes from when they protest hydro-electric damns and coal-fired plants. Then, they complain about the existing grid being overtaxed. Where do they think we're going to plug all their electric lemons in? At home, where they'll complete with our lights, appliances, air conditioning and heat.
How ironic that the biggest blowhards about wasting energy perpetrate the largest wastes of money and resources ever.

Hey Patrick, seems like the company is going over "The Ledge". ๐

@Blackrep: I believe you meant "hydro-electric dams." Unless, of course, the greenies are cursing the hydro-electric power plants they are protesting

Seriously? This isn't a joke? Someone actually spent money, and time, on a movie about electric cars…really?
I'm waiting for the "gotcha"…This has a very Rush Limbaugh feel to it.
