So today the Supreme Court heard oral arguments over the health care mandate. There has been a flurry of articles about how Justice Kennedy holds the balance of the court in his hands.
So it occurred to me that the future of limited government being in the hands of Justice Anthony Kennedy is very much like the future of abstinence being in the hands of Sandra Fluke. You are far more likely to get screwed.

Pray that the Supreme Court is not overly politicized and gives our families the protection they need. I saw a moving piece on CNN where a 3-year-old girl with epilepsy will likely lose the life-saving medicine she currently gets in two years because of a lifetime cap on insurance if Obamacare is repealed. The cap will more likely be reinstated if Obamacare is repealed. Pray for this family and our country who need Obamacare.

We need Obamacare like the unborn need Roe V Wade

Anonymous- this country does not NEED ObamaCare. Some Healthcare reform- yes, but ObamaCare-NO!

I saw a moving piece on CNN
You know what's sad – I would bet dollars to donuts you're one of those people who dismiss all conservatives as slaves to Fox News (sorry, Faux News), and yet here you are, being played by a propaganda piece on CNN. It breaks my heart that people like you, so easily swayed by the most meaningless bits of information, actually get to go into the voting booth and make decisions about who gets to lead this country.

I saw the "moving" piece on CNN myself. It "moved" me to the nearest place I could find to puke due to its complete lack of objectivity and blatant propaganda value for their lord and master, B.O.

Remember all those movies in the mid-90s about how horrible HMOs are?
Yes, well gee, couldn't have had anything to do with how Hillarycare was up for a vote at the time, could it?
Yeesh. There's one born every minute.

I read that Kennedy is much conservative on fiscal issues than social issues, and that he's having trouble justifying it as regulation of commerce, as the administration is claiming.

Follow your Pope, Teabaggers! Catholics have forgotten the social doctrine and lined up with the wrong side — the Republicans. Care for the poor! Give poor Americans the care we need!
March 28, 2012 at 2:07 pm
Wow, an ad hominem attack, a complete misconstrual of Catholic social teaching, and exclamation points in lieu of actual argumentation. Congrats, anonymous @ 7:58. That might be the shallowest comment in recorded history.

Anonymous @ 7:58, your comment reminded me of something in "After America" by Steyn. Obama is all about being his brother's keeper, but he doesn't even give any money to his destitute half-brother in Africa.
Further, to people of your persuasion, caring for the poor means the government caring for the poor. I bet more Republicans give to/care for the poor themselves than the Dem's (giving money to the gov't reduces the bang for the liberal buck, too; liberals also tend to pass on the buck onto future generations that they don't produce).

I think before this is over, Obama is going to regret criticizing the Supreme Courts Justices on national television during his State of the Union.
