Good news Catholics!!! You are not responsible for the state of the world, the country, or even the Church as a whole. Nope. You’re merely responsible for the state of your soul.
For me, that’s a burden that’s quite heavy enough. I do not believe through my writing I am going to change the course of our culture.
The cross we are called to carry is heavy enough.
I will pray for my country, the world, and the Church. That’s the most effective thing I can do. I can spread love through my words and actions. That’s what I can do. And I will do that. Sometimes I think the most powerful antidote to the world’s woes are the small cadres of those praying the rosary daily.
Hint: when you feel like you’re carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders, get on your knees.
