Only God has the power to create. The devil can not create so he spends his time reclassifying things.
“That is not a human being in the womb,” the devil may say. “That’s just a fetus or a potential human.” Here, the devil makes a distinction where none exists, thus bringing confusion.
In other times, the devil erases distinctions. “That is no woman. That’s a man!” the devil might say. “In fact, there’s no such thing as either.”
The devil, they say, is in the details because that’s where he does the most damage.
