You see, now if you talk about abortion or gay marriage you’re going against what the Pope said. That’s the prism through which some in the media are viewing the Pope Francis’ comments. So you see, accordingly, those who are silent on abortion and marriage are better Catholics.
Check out this vid where Chris Cuomo hammers away at Bill Donohue of The Catholic League.

Hi Sophie! Odd to see you back here. During our last chat I had you in a corner, so you just stopped replying. (Insert sad-face emoticon here)
You just want to forget about that and get a do-over, huh? Nope.

Had me in a corner, Prat? Are you out of what we flatter lavishly by calling your "mind"?
Oh God, man, was that what you thought happened? No, what happened was, I realized I had a better need for those pearls elsewhere (my apologies to pigs for the comparison).
Protip, one I'm sure will serve you well. When someone chooses to have pity on your feebleness and forbears to destroy you, don't yell "Yeah, you better run!" at their retreating back.

@bill bannon: The etiquette on the Internet is that it is more polite to use a consistent identity, even a pseudonymous one, but to ask that other people use their real names is potentially dangerous. Facebook didn't follow that rule, and that is why Facebook is second only to Craigslist in being linked to murders.
And funny thing, you are assuming that a hermit does not have followers. But…eremite is Greek for "of the desert", and the original Christian hermits all took John the Baptist as their model. It is not a question of having followers or not, but of living away from a community. "White Martyrdom", the extreme seclusion kind of hermitage, happened much later, during the 8th and 9th centuries. So…your point? All you've done so far is demonstrate you don't know what the Catholic League does, don't know what "hermit" means, and don't understand netiquette.
