I think these two comments stand alone. Read and decide who to vote for.
Sarah Palin:
“We have been blessed with five wonderful children who we love with all our heart and mean everything to us. Our beautiful daughter Bristol came to us with news that as parents we knew would make her grow up faster than we had ever planned. We’re proud of Bristol’s decision to have her baby and even prouder to become grandparents. As Bristol faces the responsibilities of adulthood, she knows she has our unconditional love and support.
“Bristol and the young man she will marry are going to realize very quickly the difficulties of raising a child, which is why they will have the love and support of our entire family. We ask the media to respect our daughter and Levi’s privacy as has always been the tradition of children of candidates.
Barack Obama:
I’ve got two daughters. 9 years old and 6 years old. I am going to teach them first of all about values and morals. But if they make a mistake, I don’t want them punished with a baby.
‘Nuff said.

And the thing is, if Obama’s daughters ever make a “mistake”, chances are he will never know about it. They’ll know what’s expected of them.
How sad it that? By claiming to “prepare” kids with all this sex ed, contraception and access to abortion, libs are effectively kicking them out of the nest and sending the message that they can expect no support.

Barack Hussein Obama never fails to disgust me, more and more every day. How can someone with a soul truly believe a child is a punishment and not a blessing.
Christopher Ferrara has written an interesting article arguing that, despite McCain’s imperfections, Catholics are morally obliged to vote for him now that he has chosen Mrs. Palin as his running mate.

I can’t stae it any better than Dr Dobson has so I am posting his comment below.
Focus on the Family founder James Dobson, released a statement lauding the Palins for acting in keeping with the group’s policies and practices:
“We have always encouraged the parents to love and support their children and always advised the girls to see their pregnancies through, even though there will of course be challenges along the way. That is what the Palins are doing, and they should be commended once again for not just talking about their pro-life and pro-family values, but living them out even in the midst of trying circumstances.
“Being a Christian does not mean you’re perfect. Nor does it mean your children are perfect. But it does mean there is forgiveness and restoration when we confess our imperfections to the Lord. I’ve been the beneficiary of that forgiveness and restoration in my own life countless times, as I’m sure the Palins have,” Dobson said.

I love her even more now.

OBama is going to teach morals to his children supposing one becomes pregnant by killing the baby? Wow!

You obviously haven’t heard that you can still be a good Catholic and support Obama.
Infact, not supporting Obama is racist. And good Catholics aren’t racist, so you must support Obama.

LCB ,I’m sorry, but are you serious? Are you telling us that if we don’t support Obama because we disagree with his political views that we are inherently racist? So I suppose your non-support of McCain/Palin makes you both ageist and sexist? But then, you’re a “good CAtholic,” so you ust be supporting all three of them in order to not be racist, sexist, or ageist. Not sure how you’re going tp pull that one off in the voting booth…

The conservative talk radio folks are all over these exact two quotes today. Good for you to get there first, CMR. Awesome.
